CHRISTMAS TREE DECORATING CONTEST

It's that time of year again! Our annual Christmas Tree Decorating Contest is getting underway. It's easy for everyone to participare...individuals, families or groups. The theme is a book you have read and your mission, should you decide to accept it, is to decorate a 1-2 foot tree to represent your chosen book. For example, if you wanted to use " Jurassic Park" by Michael Crichton, your tree could be decorated with tiny dinosaur figures, admission tickets and test tubes. There are so many possibilities! So, get your creative mind in high gear and let's see the result. Trees need to be dropped off at the library no later than December 11. If possible, please bring the chosen book for us to display and make sure we have your name and address so you may be notified if you are a winner. Cash prizes will be awarded for first, second and third place winners. This is a "Friends of the Library" sponsored event. You will want to stop in and view the trees even if you did not participate. They will be on display throughout the holiday season.
