Be sure to mark your calendar for Tuesday, March 29, so you won't miss a very entertaining program provided by Lisa Davis. Lisa lives in rural New York State and is an enthusiastic gardener and nature lover. Though she was a registered nurse by education and trade, designing and planting gardens for many years fulfilled her creative urges. She then discovered the relatively new art form called scanography. Having plenty of subject material to play with, she spent several years experimenting with scanner techniques, designs, and graphic arts programs. Turning her flowers into art boosted and fine-tuned her observational skills, and one day she discovered she could see whimsical heads, fanciful clothing and delicate wings among her flowers. Little fairies were born and her artwork took on a new focus. Come enjoy viewing Lisa's beautiful gardens and learn more about her art. The program is free and begins at 7 pm.
